Willow & Nyx Boutique is an independent online boutique and fashion journal based in South Africa. We sell a curated rotation of womenswear, knitwear, and accessories from local designers, and we publish editorial features about the makers behind the garments. This section explains your rights and responsibilities when using the website, reading our content, or buying from the shop.
We describe each garment as accurately as we can, including fabric composition, dimensions, and care instructions. Because we work with small-batch production, colours and textures may vary slightly from the photographs. Before you buy, check the size guide and the product notes, since we cannot accept responsibility for choices made without reviewing that information.
An order is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if a product is no longer available, if there was a pricing error, or if we suspect the order does not comply with these terms.
You agree to provide accurate and current details when placing an order or contacting us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account information you create and for all activity that happens under your account. The content on this site, including styling advice and fabric care guides, is offered for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and you should use your own judgement when applying it to your wardrobe.
All prices are listed in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. We do our best to keep pricing accurate, but errors can occur. If a price is clearly incorrect, we are not obliged to supply the item at that price and will contact you before proceeding.
Payment is due at the time of order. We use reputable payment processors, and we do not store your card details on our servers. If a payment is declined or reversed, we may cancel the order and notify you by email.
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by courier delays or customs clearance. Risk of loss passes to you once the parcel is handed to the carrier.
If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may return unworn items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition with tags attached. Custom-made or altered pieces are not eligible for return unless they arrive faulty. We will process refunds to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our content without prior written consent. You are welcome to share links to our articles, but please do not copy entire posts or product images.
We take care to keep the website operational and the information accurate, but we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Willow & Nyx Boutique is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, including lost profits or data, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under South African law.
